Fitting Instructions for theMINDER dog recovery collar

1. Remove/slide back sock to reveal foam tube. Wrap theMINDER collar around the smallest part of the pet’s neck and mark location to cut.

2. Depending on the size ordered, use scissors or serrated knife to cut off excess foam. Don’t worry if you cut too much off, you can easily reuse portion by placing it back into sock. Measure twice - cut once.

3. Replace sock (excess sock can be cut off) and slide pet’s everyday collar through straps supplied.

4. Place theMINDER collar (with pets original collar attached) onto the pet. Fasten everyday collar, then tie off the sock ends with a soft knot. For full coverage and best protection place the tied off end to the top of the pet’s head. Excess sock can cut off or tucked away.

5. theMinder collar can be used without the pet’s everyday collar. Follow previous instructions for cutting to size, wrap tube around pet’s neck and tie off with soft knot. Make sure you can put two fingers between collar and pet so theMINDER is not too tight. This option is good for cats and small to medium dogs.

 

6. Always monitor your pet to ensure theMINDER is worn correctly as some pets, when determined, may be able to manoeuvre or remove any collar.
